Making money from your own content on your own site can be hard. You might be doing everything right, but it won’t work if you can’t bring in a lot of people who want to watch ads or pay for your stuff. There are many ways to fix that, but I have one idea you might not know. It’s not the usual affiliate, SEO, or ad company. Those are good, but I wanted something that kept my content in front and centre, not ads for other sites.
That’s why I searched for a content partner. What does that mean? Well, it means you show your content on a bigger site and have ads for your site on the videos or pictures. I wanted a program that offered many options I wouldn’t find elsewhere. That’s how I found PaidPerView.com. It’s a content partner and affiliate program that has been around since 2011.
A Frustrating Lack of Key Info
Unlike other content partners, this site doesn’t say it’s for any one site in particular. This might not sound very clear, but let me explain. Usually, a big site has a special program where you post content and build an audience. But Pay-Per-View doesn’t do that. At least, it doesn’t look like they do.
There is no mention of a specific site where your content will be displayed. I looked everywhere for it. It’s not in the FAQ. The support bot didn’t have an answer. I even read through their privacy policy to see if it was there. Nope. So, I think your content gets shown on many different sites that get a lot of traffic. They act like a middleman. You get a part of the action from many programs, I guess.
Easy Sign-Up Process
The site is easy to use with two options: studio or model sign-up. I won’t talk much about the model section because they say it’s not open yet. But it’s coming soon! So, youwill have a chance to make some money here if you’re a model. The other option is to sign up as a studio, which lets you choose a network or a single person.
Once you sign up and get approved, you’ll be a content partner. From there, you can upload free or paid content and start making money. Unlike other programs, you don’t just do this for exposure. Sure, exposure is great, but it won’t pay your bills. This site will host your content and show ads around it. Every time someone clicks on the ads, you make money. You get a part of the ad money, fans can tip you, or they can buy your content directly.
Keep Most of the Money from Every Video You Sell
You can also set up subscriptions, special requests, and more. There are many ways to make money from people who might not have found your content. It’s like having a channel on a big site. You can have a free or premium channel, depending on the content you make. And you’ll get paid more for better content.
The FAQ explains how much money you can make. You can get up to 40% revenue share for 4K UHD content. You get to keep 67.5% of all funds from video sales. They explain every fee, so you know exactly what you’re signing up for. I like that they don’t hide anything. But, they don’t show CPM rates or actual numbers anywhere.
No Numbers for Rates or CPMs
It’s nice to say they offer great rates, but it doesn’t mean much when I can’t see any examples. It’s like when someone at the bar says they’re good at something but never shows it. I need to see it to believe it! I want to know how the ads will appear, which kinds of ads will run, and how much control I’ll have. The site says a lot but gives you little information about the platform.
It’s frustrating because the site is well set up, and they share so much helpful info. But when it comes to the great details, it’s unclear. I assume you can control pricing, but they don’t say it directly. I wish there were more info on the homepage, not hidden in the FAQ.
Features I Like
This site has a lot of cool features. I like how they pay you for ad clicks and give you a big platform to show your content. You get some of the good parts of joining an ad network. Plus, the idea of letting both amateur and pro models join is exciting. I’ll be watching for updates on that!
You get a lot of exposure, and the revenue share is good, so you’re encouraged to make UHD content often. The site’s layout is decent, and I appreciate how they present fees. It’s better than many other sites.
Things I Wish They Would Fix
Even though there’s a lot of info on this site, I still don’t know the answers to some of the most critical questions. Where will my content be shown? Will I control my channel and ads? How much traffic can I expect? These should be the first things the site tells you, but I still don’t know after looking through it. It isn’t enjoyable because the site is good. It wouldn’t take much to make it even better.
Final Thoughts
Overall, PaidPerView.com is a good content partner with many great tools for making money. I say “seems like” because I can’t be sure yet. They don’t answer key questions, like where your content will show up and how much control you’ll have over your ads. I need to see numbers and examples. This site doesn’t give you that. Still, I recommend checking it out and signing up because I think it could be good. But don’t put all your hopes on it yet. It’s worth a look, but it might not be worth fully trusting right away.
